Privacy Policy (Radio Directory)

Account Information: By default, the App is designed to work without requiring an account. If account features are enabled in the future, we may collect information you provide to create an account (such as email address).

Device & App Data: We may collect limited technical data necessary to operate the App (such as device type, operating system version, and basic diagnostics in case of crashes).

Location: The App does not require location for listening. If you grant location permissions, we use it only to improve the directory experience (e.g., helping you discover stations by country/region). You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.

Favorites & Preferences (Local): Your favorites, preferences, and recent selections are stored locally on your device (for example via local storage on your phone) so the App can remember your settings.

Provide the App: To display the station directory, allow you to search/discover stations, and play streams you select.

Improve Reliability: To troubleshoot issues and improve app performance (e.g., crash diagnostics).

Direct streaming: When you press play, the App connects directly to the broadcaster's stream URL. We do not proxy, re-host, cache, or record audio.

Radio Browser directory: Station metadata is sourced from the community-maintained Radio Browser directory. Their service may have its own policies.

Broadcasters: Broadcasters may independently collect data when you connect to their stream (for example, IP address or user agent). This is outside of our control.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only when required to comply with the law, enforce our rights, or protect users.

Local preferences (like favorites) remain on your device until you remove them (e.g., clearing app data or uninstalling the App). If account functionality is enabled, server-stored account data would be retained only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.

Permissions: You can control permissions (such as location) through your device settings.

Delete Local Data: You can remove your favorites/preferences by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling.

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when changes were made.
